Job Title: TEMP/FLEXI working - Nursery Practitioners
Location: Islington Area (EC1A)

Are you looking for flexible work as a Nursery Practitioner?
We are currently recruiting for competent and experienced Nursery Practitioners to join our team to support with Short Term and Long-Term placements in local Nurseries in the Islington area.

Daily Duties will include:
• Support the nursery team to ensure effective and positive play opportunities are provided on a day to day basis.
• Assist in the implementation of age-appropriate planned and spontaneous activities
• Helping to create a warm, safe and inclusive environment.
• Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment, including toys and educational materials
• Support children in their daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and personal hygiene

Essential requirements for our Nursery Practitioners:
• At least 1 years’ experience in a nursery role
• Good knowledge & understanding of the EYFS & Statutory framework (training provided by Starfyn if needed)
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to use your own initiative
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and respond to children's needs promptly
• A natural ability to show compassion, empathy and understanding in your day-to-day interactions with children

Desirable requirements for our Nursery Practitioners:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma or above Early Years Childcare Qualification
• An enhanced DBS Check
• Safeguarding and EYFS Training
