This school is for children aged 2 -19 and are welcoming applications from qualified teachers who enjoy the job satisfaction that comes with working as a team to develop children with learning difficulties in primary age groups. Within this role, you will co-ordinate a team of well-trained support staff in planning and delivering activities to develop the children social, communication and physical abilities. Ultimately, promoting independence and setting them up to succeed in life once they've finished school.
This is a full-time, permanent role and you will working 8:30am – 4:30pm to ensure that all pupils have the correct supervision and support whilst on school campus.  This school has continuous support from the senior leadership team and specialist colleagues. You will be paid to scale.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated classroom practitioner to engage and inspire a class of learners with SEN through high expectations and eclectic and accessible teaching methods. The successful applicant will work in a Communication and Interaction Class that specialises in a variety of communication approaches, supporting children with complex communication and associated behavioural needs. We need practitioners who can build trusting relationships and provide security to vulnerable learners and who are able to communicate clearly, confidently and demonstrate resilience in the face of high-pressure circumstances.
An Ideal Candidate will have :
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience of teaching within special educational needs
Excellent communication and organisational skills and a practical approach to engaging pupils.
Be passionate about teaching children and young people with SEN
Ready for the challenge and excitement that a new provision brings!
Have ambition to take on additional responsibilities and leadership
Candidates will be required to submit an application form as well as supply references, also you will be required to own an up-to-date, or be willing to apply for a Starfyn Education DBS
